Alina Zagitova. Like a humming bird on ice.
Comments from YouTube:
This was the absolute best short program I have ever seen, and I have watched the Winter Olympics (and other skating competitions) since 1988.
Beautiful girl!! You deserve all the blessings and goodness. You are solid, strong and such a delightful to watch. So happy for you!
I’m 15 and can’t even get out of bed in the morning
After watching the “Of Ice and Fame” documentary I gained a lot of respect for Alina. She came back strong after breaking her leg & her arm, learning to skate and jump again just to become a European champion. She sacrificed a lot to be away from her family and she wants to provide for them. Now she is an Olympic champion at 15.
I'm so scared watching her perform because I fear when she goes up to jump she's never gonna come back down.
Wow! It shows mastery of the arts. She strategically executes the whole program managing the risks with confidence of her performance abilities. By saving her energy for all the jumps until the last few minutes of the program (very risky!) she not only wins more points, she also captivates the audience and the judges in the end. Trademark of an Olympic winner!!! Sublime! Sweet victory at a very young age... "The apprentice has become the Master" with great elegance.
Talented, resilient, strong, smart, creative, beautiful,...and only 15. Wow! Pure gold indeed !!
I'ts billiant!! Her future is brighter.. You are pure and deserve to be where you are. I love you
SO happy for her. To have that kind of composure at15 to be able to put the triple loop back onto the second lutz is amazing.
I am glad she was so superior to the rest of competitors that no one in can cry cheating now! Or else we had an army of losers here claiming Russians cheated.
The first time I've ever felt 'pulled in' to a performance! She is extraordinary and only 15! I will be looking forward to her performances from now on!
Wow perfect!
from what i saw of her, she was a complete diva. when she won gold, you could see her giggling and trying to hide it. and then she used up all the ice during the preparation moment, making people have to jump out of her way so she wouldn't run them over.
She raised the bar for everyone!
She handles pressure like nothing and she’s only 15. Her demeanor is that of a seasoned vet. So poised.
This is the very first time I have seen a 100% melding of grace and athleticism in figure skating. Usually one or the other is lacking somewhat. I usually do not enjoy watching figure skating, but this was truly exceptional.
It was no contest once Alina stepped on the ice...she's perfect skater.
Such perfect confidence and beauty of human vitality
Alina Zagitova is the best in the World.
This was everything!!! Gold medal written all over this! Spectacular! She seems to make it look effortless...the movement and the precision of the jumps. Incredible! Congrats on ur gold medal.
Queen Alina deserved that gold medal. Medbots need to get a life.

It's crazy how she's only 15.
